The United Arab Emirates welcomes you. The Federal Authority for Identity and Citizenship and The National Emergency Crisis and Disasters Management Authority has announced that starting from tomorrow August 30, 2021, applications for tourist visas will be open from all countries, provided that they are fully vaccinated with one of the World Health Organization-approved COVID-19 vaccines.
All arrivals must bring a negative COVID-19 test result and, depending on the country they are coming from, they may need to get re-tested on arrival. According to the data released by Dubai Tourism, the emirate received more than 1.7 million visitors between July and December 2020 from markets that were open and an additional two million visitors in the first five months of 2021. Wearing a mask is mandatory as well as keeping a two-meter social distance. Outside, you must wear a mask unless exercising, eating, or drinking, in a car with your family or if you're alone. People are visiting the Emirates not only to witness the iconic landmarks and skyscrapers but also to experience the tolerant spirit of the Arab and Islamic culture.
